Egyptian Agriculture Export Council (AEC) signed a protocol with China on Tuesday to export grapes to Chinese markets for the first time.
The signing ceremony was attended by Egypt’s Agriculture Minister Essam Fayed, Chinese Ambassador to Cairo, AEC members, officials at agriculture ministry, in addition to Board of Directors of Horticultural Export Improvement Association (HEIA).
Samir El Naggar – First Vice President of the (AEC)- stated that opening new markets for Egyptian grape in China comes among council’s strategy that aims at opening new markets for Egyptian agriculture crops so as to double the exports volume within the coming five years.
