Egypt to establish its 1st centre for recycling construction waste

Egypt’s Ministry of Environment announced on Thursday the establishment of the country’s first centre to recycle construction and demolition waste.

The move comes with the goal of repurposing waste into construction materials, as well as fostering future environmental investment in the country.

This came after a meeting between the Minister of Environment with the Waterway Real Estate Development Company and German research specialists to discuss the feasibility and establishment of the project.
