The Egyptian government seeks to achieve growth rates by around five percent within financial year 2017/2018, Minister of Planning Hala El-Saeed said Sunday.
El-Saeed added that the country is planning to double the growth rates to four percent at the end of next June and between 6 and 6.5 percent within 2020.
The Egyptian minister made these remarks earlier during her meeting with journalists.
“We target doubling the growth with rated ranging between six and 6.5 percent within 2020,” El-Saeed noted.
The next financial year will witness an increase in the volumes of government investments in order to create more job opportunities, she confirmed.
