Egypt signs 11 PPP deals with investments of EGP150mln

Egypt signed 11  public private partnership  (PPP) contracts with real estate developers with total investments of 120-150 million Egyptian pounds, Khaled Abbas, Egyptian Deputy Minister of Housing for National Projects said.

The contracts are signed for the first and second phases of private public partnership projects launched by the government with total area spanning between 6,000 and 8,000 feddans.

The  Ministry of housing seeks to make a progress in implementing these projects before launching the third phase of the PPP projects.

The first stage of PPP projects has been launched during Egypt’s Economic Development Conference in March 2015.
