Egypt resumes onion exports to Saudi Arabia – minister

Egypt has resumed onion exports to Saudi Arabia on April 1st, in conjunction with the start of the harvest season, its minister of agriculture said late on Sunday.

Since the beginning of this month, Minister El Sayyed El Quseir said Egypt had exported more than 6,000 tons of onions worldwide, including Saudi market, according to a post by the Egyptian Cabinet.
