Egypt is set to start executing the biggest commercial and entertainment park project, The Green River in the country’s new administrative capital within 2019.
The new project will be implemented in favour of Egyptian Ministry of Housing on a built-up area ranging between 7 percent and 10 percent, said chairman of Administrative Capital for Urban Development (ACUD) on Thursday.
“The Green River will include a number of central gardens, cafes, restaurants, and commercial shops as well as various investment projects, besides a park featuring the Islamic architecture,” Ahmed Zaki Abdeen said.
Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly earlier said all the 20 neighborhoods in the new capital will be linked to The Green River, which is meant to mimic the Nile River situated in the middle of Cairo.
