Egyptian government has confirmed 250 fully funded scholarships for South Sudanese undergraduate students, said the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology on Friday.
The Ministry added any interested students can collect application forms for a non-refundable fee of SSP 4000.
The scholarship covered tuition fees, feeding, accommodation and monthly stipends of 1k pounds, Adil Athanaziou Surur, the undersecretary said.
Meanwhile, students with foreign certificates obtained outside South Sudan must have them endorsed by the South Sudanese embassy in that country and authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of that country.
There will be an obligatory entry exam for students applying for nursing, as well as a yearlong Arabic course for students accepted into the College of Political Science and Economics.
It is worth mentioning that the collection of forms began on April 20 and will end on May 3, 2023, according to the ministry.
