Egypt’s Prime Minister Ibrahim Mehleb discussed on Tuesday with Jordanian Minister of Energy Mohammad Hamed means of boosting cooperation in all fields, especially in the energy and renewable energy domain, according to State Information Service (SIS), reported Mubasher newspaper.
In a meeting, the two sides agreed on studying programs and plans of the future petroleum and gas projects in a way that serves the development in the two countries.
The Jordanian minister conveyed congratulations of Prime Minister of Jordan Abdullah Ensour to Mehleb over his reassignment as head of the Egyptian government.
For his part, Mehleb underlined the deeply rooted and strategic relations between Egypt and Jordan. He pledged to work on boosting ties in the coming period.
