Egypt and Italy signed an agreement to build a joint commercial centre, a senior official in the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce (FEDCOC) announced on Monday.
The two countries signed the deal during the Egyptian-Italian Economic Forum that took place in Cairo last week.
The centre will be established over three phases, on an area of 120 feddans, FEDCOC’s secretary general Alaa Ezz Amin told Amwal Al Ghad.
“The centre’s first phase is set to be completed at the end of 2020,” Amin said.
