The Egyptian Industry Foreign Trade and Investment Ministry is planning to review the possibility of negotiations of free trade zone between Egypt and Russian Federation, which includes Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan within the Egyptian-Russian Joint Committee that will be launching today.
Mr. Mohamed Dawood, Head of Egyptian Commercial Representation asserted that it is important to reach for an agreement regarding enhancing the joint economic and commercial ties between both countries, noting the committee includes discussing the mechanism of transiting the Russian industrial technology to the Egyptian industry especially in car industry sector.
Elite of experts will attend the Preparatory Committee meetings, as well as identifying the important issues to be reviewed during the meeting, Dawood noted.
Moreover, Egyptian-Russian Joint meetings has a great and large-scale interesting from the officials in both sides, noting that it will discuss a large numbers of economic files, such as facilitating the commercial exchange and alluring fresh Russian investments including Suez Canal Axis Developing Project.
