by Nada Ali

Egypt has returned back home 16 south Sudanese children who were marooned in the Egyptian-Sudanese borders, said Kitab Augustino, the information secretary for Balanda Community Association in Juba, on Wednesday.

The children took refuge in Nasir, Sudan, when war erupted in Sudan on April 15, 2023, but they put under detention until this week, when the Egyptian government decided to bring them to South Sudan, Augustino added.
