Egypt, Greece sign maritime demarcation agreement

Egypt signed a maritime demarcation agreement with Greece to set up an exclusive economic zone.

The Egyptian minister of foreign affairs Sameh Shoukry  signed the agreement counterpart Nikos Dendias

The two ministers discussed the possible means to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries in the region.

It is noteworthy to mention that in 2013, Egypt signed a maritime demarcation agreement with Cyprus to develop oil and gas fields in the region.
