The Egyptian government allocates 2.6 billion Egypt pounds ($292.8 million) to provide all needs of health and pharmaceuticals sectors, said the Cabinet spokesperson on Monday.
Egypt’s Prime Minister Sherif Ismail held a meeting late Monday with Egyptian Minister of Health Ahmed Emad, and Tarek Elkoly, Assistant Sub-Governor at Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
Ismail targets a strategic plan to provide needs of health and pharmaceuticals firms, spokesman Hossam Gawish added.
Ismail has called to form a working group monthly included council of ministers, ministry of health, and the central bank to provide all pharmaceuticals markets’ needs.
