Egypt finalises 1st ship supply service in Sokhna

Egypt’s Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) finalised its first ship supply service in the port of Sokhna south of the SCZone, according to a statement on Monday.

The CMA CGM SUEZ container ship was supplied with fuel by the Karpathos supply ship.

Last June, Waleid Gamal Eldien, the Head of SCZone, announced the launch of ship supply services for the first time in the ports of East and West Port Said.

The move is in line with the SCZone’s 2020-2025 strategy to localize maritime services in affiliated ports.
