Egypt has completed 1,504 social housing units in Red Sea governorate, said chairperson of the Egyptian Mortgage Finance Fund on Thursday.
MFF’s May Abdel Hamid made these remarks during a meeting with Egyptian Minister of Housing Asem El-Gazzar about the implementation of works in some governorates under the country’s social housing project.
“We are currently executing other 672 social housing units in Red Sea,” Abdel Hamid said.
As for more works in Upper Egyptian governorate of Assiut, the Ministry of Housing has finalised 4,824 units, where 72 other homes are being executed, she added.
The ministry is also carrying out 2,832 units in Suez governorate, Abdel Hamid said, adding that there are 500 homes are being implemented in Damietta.
“We are executing 360 units in Marsa Matruh governorate and 566 other units in Kafr El Sheikh,” Abdel Hamid added.
The ministry also is implementing 2,460 units and 7,381 units in Beni Suef and Menofia governorates respectively, she added.
“We are carrying our 240 units in Ismailia and 3,196 others in Qalyubia,” Abdel Hamid concluded.
