Egypt, China sign protocol to build industrial projects in Ain Sokhna

Egypt and china has signed a protocol of cooperation to utilise and market a land plot owned by the Suez Canal Authority author in Ain Sokhna.

The Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority, Osama Rabea, and the Chairman of the Egyptian-Chinese J.V. Company for Investment, Mohamed Adel Fathy have witnessed the signing ceremony.

The land plot will be offered to investors for the establishment of small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), according to a statement on Wednesday.

The Egyptian-Chinese J.V. Company for Investment will be the industrial developer of the land which covers an area of 600,000 square metres in northwestern Gulf of Suez.
