Egypt became Africa’s largest cement producer with an annual production capacity of about 92 million tonnes, said Minister of Industry and Trade Ahmed Samir on Monday on the sidelines of the 25th Arab International Cement and Building Materials conference.
Samir assured that the cement sector was one of the most important major industrial sectors in the national economy, which contributes to meeting the basic needs of infrastructure and urban projects.
The conference provides a platform for exhibitors to network and build relationships with industry professionals, while also learning from the latest trends and developments in the field.
The event is a perfect opportunity for exhibitors to showcase their products and services to a large and diverse audience. It is taking place in Cairo, Egypt from 15-17 January 2024.
