Egypt, African Union countries trade exchange rises 16% in 2022

The trade exchange between Egypt and African countries rose by 16 percent to reach $8.653 billion last year, compared to $7.481 billion in 2021, Central Agency for Public Mobilisation and Statistics reported on Sunday.

Egypt’s exports to Libya reached $1215 million, while exports to Sudan amounted $929 million, and Morocco increased to $822 million, the report which published on the African Statistics Day, said.
