The Egyptian Competition Authority (ECA) held yesterday a workshop at the headquarters of the Businessmen Association in Alexandria, to explain the completion protection law and how the community becomes consensus with the articles provided in the law.
The workshop was attended by a team from (ECA), and the laws as well as the violations were explained for the members from different sectors in the market in order to avoid violating the competition or breach the law. It also included a number of practical applications for competition protection law.
Dr Mona El Garf, Head of ECA, said the authority is seeking to make the community aware of the Egyptian competition regulations in all the governorates. She also referred to the commitment of the companies and the individuals to the completion regulations in the market.
