Dutch direct investments in Egypt record $10 billion – minister

The Netherlands has injected direct investments worth $10 billion into Egypt through 648 Dutch companies operating in the most populous Arab nation, Egyptian Investment Minister Sahar Nasr said on Tuesday.

Dutch firms ranked second in terms of the volume of foreign direct investments (FDI) in Egypt, according to Mubasher.

This came during the inauguration of Farm Frites’ new plant in 10th of Ramadan City with investments worth $40 million.
