Coca-Cola has invested around $500 million in the Egyptian market over the past three years, general manager of Coca-Cola East Africa said in a conference.

The multinational beverage maker aims to boost its investments in Egypt in the coming years, Ahmed Rady told reporters.

Coca-Cola, the leading soft drinks producer, currently dominates 35% of the beverages market in the North African state, Rady noted.

He also revealed the company’s plan to add new beverages to its Egypt’s portfolio such as tea, coffee, and juices.

Coca-Cola’s factory in Nasr City Public Free Zone, Cairo, exports its products to 42 countries across the world, he indicated.
