Cleopatra Hospital Group, the biggest Egyptian private hospital operator by number of beds, is planning to invest more than 1 billion Egyptian pounds ($52.8 million) this year.
The company is studying a number of projects in the local market, said its chief executive Ahmed Ezz El-Din in a press conference held on the sidelines of singing a cooperation agreement with Novartis Pharma.
“Cleopatra plans to establish specialised centres for surgeries, as we have already built two centres as a first phase.” Ezz El-Din said.
“The company also plans to expand the usage of robots in surgeries across all the new centres.”
