Streaming giant Netflix announced on Tuesday that users in Egypt will now be able to pay their subscriptions in the Egyptian pound.
The move comes in line with Netflix’s mission to deliver a more local experience.
Netflix made similar step in Saudi Arabia and UAE, allowing customers to pay subscription payment in Saudi riyal and UAE dirham.
As for customers on the Basic, one-screen, subscription will now pay 120 Egyptian pounds ($7.59) per month, while on the Standard HD, two-screen, will be 165 pounds per month. As for the Premium Ultra High Definition (Ultra HD), four-screen, customers will pay 200 pounds per month.
