Cairo Poultry Company profits rise to 364 mln pounds in 2017

Cairo Poultry Company’s (CPC) profits rose to 364.1 million Egyptian pounds ($20.5 million) in 2017 from 263.3 million in 2016, consolidated financial statements announced Monday.

The firm, an affiliate of Kuwait Food Company, achieved revenues worth 4.3 billion pounds up from 2.6 billion pounds.

Revenues fell to 316 million pounds during the January-September 2017 period, compared with 146.8 million pounds during the same period a year earlier.
