Adel Rahuma, Head of Regional Office of the Arab Union of Cities and Industrial Areas (AUCIA), an affiliate of the Arab League, said the bureau has a plan for drawing an Arab investment map and providing opportunities for boosting the intra-regional trade investments among the Arab countries.

In his statements to “Amwal Al Ghad”, Rahuma said the regional office will discuss establishing a land bridge between Egypt and Saudi Arabia, which President Morsi talked about during his participation in the Economic Summit in Riyadh. He underscored the necessity of building this bridge, which is an important step in increasing the trade exchange between Egypt and Gulf countries.

Rahuma has referred to establishing an information system for the different activities of the cities and the industrial zones to provide a joint database for the Arab industrial zones, to determine the information necessary for, to follow up the ventures f the Arab investors in Egypt, and to resolve any obstacles.
