Arab Women Investors Union plans to complete Capital Gas project in Ras Gharib by the end of 2016, with US$ 100 million in investments, chairperson Huda Yassi stated Tuesday.
She noted that the project would be carried out through an Egyptian-Kuwaiti-Lebanese investment consortium, aiming to refine gases disposed in the Egyptian Eastern Desert.
The union has contracted with a US-based key firm to secure equipments necessary for the implementation of the project within the targeted timeframe, the chairperson elaborated. Works on the project have been under way since 2014.
Moreover, Yassi expressed that the Arab Women Investors Union intends to launch two new projects; Business Park to serve businessmen and to be established in the Sixth of October City on a space of 65.000 m2, in addition to the Royal University in Egypt, to be with environmentally-friendly trend.
