Egypt’s Arab Contractors (AC) announced on Monday it would suspend works on the fourth phase of Cairo Metro line 3 for one week amid fears of coronavirus outbreak.
The decision aims to safeguard the lives of AC employees, the company added in a statement.
AC has started the sterilization of all the metro stations, it said, adding that work would be resumed on Sunday, March 29 after ensuring complete implementation of all preventive measures against the spread of the virus.
