Egypt’s El Sewedy Electric unit on Wednesday has signed a deal worth 365 million Egyptian pounds ($22.5 million) for a public-private partnership (PPP) flagship in the country’s new capital.
Signed by El Sewedy Electric for Trading and Distribution and the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), the deal will involve electromechanical works of a high-voltage cable project to link stations in the new capital.
The project will be implemented within a 12-month timeframe, El Sewedy said in a bourse filling.
