Egypt and China have inked a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on exporting fresh Egyptian dates to China.
This comes within efforts exerted to develop the Egyptian exports especially the agricultural crops including dates, citrus, grapes and sugarcane feed products, Head of the Egyptian Economic and Commercial Representation Office in China Mamdouh Salman said.
Salman also said talks with the Chinese side are still underway by the Egyptian trade representation office to include other agricultural products on the list of Chinese exports from Egypt with the framework of a strategic plan to decrease the gap in the trade balance between the two countries.
