Food Africa Exhibition to be held next week in Cairo

The 5th edition of Food Africa Exhibition will be held at Egypt International Exhibition Centre in Cairo on December 9-11.

Cairo is to witness for the first time the largest gathering of dates manufacturers, representing Arab and North African countries, the exhibition’s director Dalia Kabil said in a statement on Sunday.

The gathering comes in light of Egypt’s plan to cultivate around 5 million palm trees to become the largest exporter of dates worldwide, Kabil said.

The exhibition is being organized by the Food Export Council, the Agriculture Export Council, and the Chamber of Food Industries, Kabil noted.
