Three Egyptian state-run companies launch housing, utilities projects

Three Egyptian state-run companies launched a bundle of residential, utilities, and infrastructure projects totalling around 500 million Egyptian pounds ($29.1 million) in Cairo and Sixth of October City.

The three firms are Heliopolis for Housing and Development, El Nasr Housing and Development, and Maadi for Development and Reconstruction, the official source in Maadi Development told Amwal Al Ghad on Tuesday.

“The works will include the implementation of infrastructure and residential projects in New Heliopolis City for Heliopolis Housing as well as 2020 Compound in Sixth of October City for El Nasr Housing,” he said.

As for Maadi Development’s project, it is to encompass a number of residential and utilities works in Maadi View in El Shorouk City, the source added.
