Telecom Egypt nine-month profits rise 3.51 mln pounds

Telecom Egypt said on Thursday its profits rose to 3.51 billion pounds during the first nine months of the year from 3.48 billion  pounds last year.

Revenue increased to 17.35 billion pounds at the end of September, compared with 13.12 billion pounds during the same period in 2017, the company said in a bourse filling.

Telecom Egypt reported a percent growth in its profits during the second quarter of the current year, recording 1.28 billion pounds from 1.23 billion pounds last year.

during the first half of this year, net profit fell by 18.2 percent to 2.06 billion pounds, against 2.52 billion pounds during the same period in 2017.
