Egypt Kuwait Holding’s unit expanding Alexandria’s power station

Egypt Kuwait Holding (EKH) said on Sunday that its affiliate National Company Electrical Technology has started expanding its full owned power station in Borg El Arab, 45km (28 miles) southwest of Alexandria.

With investments worth around 550 million Egyptian pounds ($30.6 million), the expansion works are expected to be completely implemented within the first quarter of 2020.

The 91.95 percent-owned subsidiary National Co. Electrical Technology aims to increase the power station’s productivity from 75 MW to 115 MW.
