Egypt’s Juhayna Food Industries hosted on Wednesday a delegation from the Netherlands to tour around its factories.
The delegation visited El Dawleya Juice Factory, which primarily produces and packages fresh juices and drinks, and Egyfood Factory, which is specialised in the production of plain and flavored yoghurt besides drinkable yoghurt.
The visit is part of the Egyptian company’s keenness to exchange experiences and increase investment opportunities with the world’s leading countries, specifically those that are well-known for their manufacturing distinction such as the Netherlands.
The Dutch delegation included the Netherlands ambassador to Egypt, Laurens Westhoff and Joost Geijer, Head of Economic Department and Agricultural Counsellor.
The tour incorporated inspecting production lines at both El Dawleya and Egyfood factories. A demonstration of the latest technologies used in the production line and a professional view of the manufacturing process from the beginning until the final exit were exhibited. The Egyptian company also reviewed its horizontal expansion strategy, which ensures offering high quality products using the best raw materials.
The delegates expressed their willingness to enrich the business alliance by subsequently increasing imports and exports and opening strong communication channels in which experiences can be exchanged.

The main target of the tour is to lucratively place Egypt on the global food industry map, Fouad added.
Juhayna immensely relies on its horizontal expansion strategy, consisting of four major sectors, the agricultural sector and animal production represented by Al-Enma for agricultural development and livestock.
As for the industrial sector, it is highly portrayed through four factories, while the commercial sector includes 28 distribution centres, with a majority spread over Egypt and a robust distribution network, which covers 27 governorates with approximately 65,000 retail outlets.
