El Nasr For Manufacturing Agricultural Crops Co. (ELNA:EGX) targets to launch a dried food factory in Beni Suef by the beginning of August. The factory, designed to have a production capacity of 5,000 tons of garlic and onion, will export the products abroad.
The total cost of this factory is EGP 50 million. The factory, built on an area of 33,000 meters in Beni Suef, will create 60 job opportunities. The factory plans to export its products to Germany, Italy, Denmark, Sweden, and Britain in which there is increasing demand on dehydrated onion and garlic.
El Nasr For Manufacturing Agricultural Crops Co.’s financial statements showed it posted net loss of EGP 7.747 million in FY 2011/2012 ended on March 31st 2012, compared to net loss of EGP 271,000 in FY 20110/2011.
