Egyptian fertilizer company Evergrow has finished expanding an industrial complex in 6th of October with production capacity of 610,000 tonnes annually.
The company’s investments reached $8 billion by expanding this complex, said Evergrow’s chairman Mohamed El-Kheshen.
He further explained that the expansions have contributed to the production capacity potassium sulfate fertilizers to reach 400 thousand tons per year, bi-calcium phosphate production capacity of 110 thousand tons, which will be a strong addition in the field of poultry production in addition to the unit for the production of calcium granulated chloride up to 100 thousand tons per year used in drilling operations gas and oil.
He added that the company seeks to provide for the needs of specialized fertilizers Egypt, stressing that the company operates in accordance with modern global strategy and track modern manufacturing systems and not traditional to cover 70% of the Egyptian market needs of potassium fertilizers.
