Cairo-based Engineering Establishment for Electrical Industries (Egytrafo) is aiming boosting its sales’s volume to 700 million Egyptian pounds ($39 million) within the current year, Chairman Atef Abdel Moneim said.
Abdel Moneim told Amwal Al Al Ghad that his firm is seeking increasing production capacity to 700 transformers per month instead of the current production capacity which ups to 250 per month.
EGYTRAFO Grp. is a leading manufacturer of Oil, Dry Transformers and Nickel Cadmium Batteries.
He added that the company exports 25 percent of its production to 20 countries, 12 of which are African countries.
The firm has recently extended through inaugurating new production line to produce transformers.
In 2012, Egytrafo inaugurated plant for dry transformers with EGP40million investments and 1200 production capacities per day.
