The Egyptian president Abdel Fattah Al Sisi has inugurated on Monday the 40 km Shoubra-Benha Road as a part of the national project for roads.
The 40-kilometer- long road linking between Shoubra (Northern Cairo) and Banha city of Qalyubia Governorate.
The President will be opening the Northeastern curve of the regional ring road with total length of 33.35 Kilo meter, established by the ministry of Transportation as part of the sector of 92 km of the regional ring road.
Furthermore, 11 bridges and tunnels have been completed nationwide. They, along with the 7 development and service projects , have been inaugurated today by President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi.
Mohamed Erfan, the head of the Administrative Control Authority (ACA) said that the projects that have been inaugurated today are with total cost of 6.4 billion Egyptian pounds.
In late December 2017, President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi inaugurated major national projects in the cities of the Suez Canal. The inauguration was attended by senior state officials, public figures, youth and representatives from all state institutions.
The inauguration event witnessed Sisi giving the green light for several projects to start operating, including the tunnel of Ismailia; two floating bridges built on the Suez Canal and El Qantara, respectively; the second stage of aquaculture projects in the east of the Suez Canal; and the Offshore Support Vessel.
