Egypt’s GASC offers tender to buy wheat from global suppliers

Egyptian state buyer General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) offered a tender to buy unlimited quantities of wheat from the global suppliers  to be shipped in the period ranging from February 1 to February 10.

Egypt is the world’s largest wheat importer seeks to purchases shipments of soft wheat and / or wheat flour from the United States, Canada, Australia, France, Germany, Poland, Argentina, Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Romania.

Egypt is expected to buy 7 million tonnes of wheat during the current financial year  that has started on the first of July 2017.
