Egypt engineering industry hopes to boost exports to Nile Basin, Latin America

Egypt’s engineering industry chamber is looking to increase the country’s presence in eastern Africa, notably in the Nile Basin countries in addition to Latin America.

“We are seeking to boost Egypt’s engineering exports to the East Africa countries, notably in the Nile Basin area, in addition to our traditional markets from Maghreb to the Gulf.” said Bahaa Dimitri – head of exhibitions committee at the Egyptian Chamber of Engineering Industries – on Tuesday.

The chamber is also looking to establish a presence in the Latin American market, in Argentina and Puerto Rico, Dimitri added.
