Egyptian petroleum ministry pumps one million butane gas canisters every day to secure needs of local market, ministry’s spokesman Hamdy Abdel-Aziz said Saturday.
He added that ministry’s import contracts are continues and regular as well as the local production of butane.
The official denied that there is a shortage in butane gas supplies, adding that the ministry would immediately supply any governorate with additional amounts of butane gas if needed.
He asserted that the reserves and contracts enable the ministry to supply any area with additional amounts of butane gas.
