Egypt’s Ministry of finance amended a number of provisions in the stamp tax law to oblige industrial firms to pay stamp taxes for their natural gas consumption directly to the tax authorities during the last ten days in the next month after consumption.
The ministerial decree requires natural gas companies to notify companies and tax offices of the consumption and monthly taxes.
