Egypt’s leading construction firm, Arab Contractors Company signed today an agreement with the Red Sea Port Authority to establish two fishing ports in Shelatin and Abu Ramad. The agreement was signed in the presence of Dr. Ibrahim El-Demeiri – Egypt’s Transportation Minister, on Sunday.
As pursuant to the agreement, establishing the two ports will be at estimated cost of EGP 80 million.
The two ports are set to provide more than 3500 job opportunities, the minster noted, adding that the ministry’s participation comes within the framework of its strategy to take part in the development of the Upper Egypt.
