Cabinet Agrees for EU to Finance Development Projects in Egypt €90 mln

The Egyptian Cabinet approved on Egypt’s President Decree for the two exchange letters which signed in Cairo on October24 and October30 2013 between Egypt and European Union (EU), for the support of EU for financing social and economic development projects in Egypt with €90 million as grant allocations of 2012 in order to support Comprehensive reform program.

In the framework of the government’s efforts to develop the agriculture sector so as to provide job opportunities and to improve the standards of the rural people, the Cabinet agreed on the Egyptian President decree for Umbrella agreement between Egypt’s government and the partners of EU, especially the French Development Agency (AFD) regarding supporting small and medium sized projects of agriculture sector with €52 million which inked on November25 2013.

Furthermore, The Cabinet agreed to build sewage plant in Ismailia governorate with total amounts up EGP120 million.
