Egypt Trade Balance Deficit Down 29.7 Percent in May

Latest official statistics show Egypt’s trade deficit fell by 29.7 per cent in May compared to same month last year, as exports outstripped imports.

Egypt’s trade balance deficit dropped by 29.7 per cent in May 2013 compared to the same month last year.  It reached EGP 16.21 billion compared to EGP 23.05 billion in May 2013, the state statistics agency CAPMAS reported.
