Egypt, Sudan Sign Agreement To Form Business Council

Mohamad Bahnihi, board member at Shatat Group, said Egypt and the Sudan have signed on Friday an agreement aiming to establish the Egyptian-Sudanese business council which would include businessmen from both countries who would work on boosting the cooperation between the two countries. 
The signing agreement ceremony was attended by Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi and his Sudanese counterpart Omar Al-Bashir along with Eng. Wael Shatat – the Chief Executive of Shatat Group, Bahnihi added.

Bahnihi further noted that the council will start to elect its executive committee that includes 14 members, half of them from Egypt and the other from the Sudan. The member shall put a strategy plan for the upcoming period which will be submitted within 2 months by the council’s next meeting in Alex.

It is worth mentioning that Shatat Group which is carrying out the direct land route project that links between Cairo and Khartoum. The land route project is expected completion by next June.
