China’s commercial auto output grows 9% in Jan-Feb

China’s commercial vehicle production and sales showed robust growth in the first two months of 2024, according to Xinhua.

Output of commercial vehicles increased nine per cent year-on-year to 560,000 units, while sales rose by 14.1 per cent year to 575,000 units during the same period.

Truck sales reached 504,000 units, up by 12.2 per cent year, and coach sales surged by 29.1 per cent to 71,000 units compared to the same period in 2023.

Truck production increased by 7.9 per cent year, and coach production by 17.9 per cent year during the same period.
