The World Health Organisation (WHO) said on Thursday that northern Gaza now has no functional hospitals due to a lack of fuel, staff, and supplies.

“There are actually no functional hospitals left in the north,” Richard Peeperkorn, WHO representative in Gaza, told reporters in a video call from Jerusalem.

“Al-Ahli (Hospital) was the last one but it is now minimally functional,” he added.

The Israeli occupation forces have been targeting hospital, schools, and refugee camps, in horrendous war crimes and violation of international law.

The attacks killed more than 20,000 innocent civilians.
