McDonald’s Egypt sales drop by 70% amid boycotts

by Sama Mousa

McDonald’s Egypt sales dropped by 70 percent amid the ongoing boycott over the company’s support to Israel, a McDonald’s employee told press on Thursday.

According to the employee, who insisted to remain anonymous, the sales during October and November 2023 are 70 percent less than those recorded during the same period last year, Reuters reported.

McDonald’s said in early October that it will be donating free meals for the Israeli soldiers as they head to the Gaza strip to commit a genocide against the Palestinian people.
The ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people has been going on for 75 years, and it has always been the most important cause for Arabs across the globe.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza and the occupied West Bank has killed more than 15,000 innocent civilians, 67 percent of which are women and children.
