Egypt produces 2.4bln cu ft. of natural gas a day in Zohr field – ministry

Egypt produced 2.4 billion cubic feet of natural gas per day for the last year from Zohr field, accounting around 3,700 barrels per day, said the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources on Sunday.

The field is expected to witness an increase in production starting the end of October. According to the ministry’s there are currently construction woks to dig more fields during 2024 and 2025.
